Effects of Ginseng upon Tolerance of Mice to Positive Radial Acceleration(¥±)

Abstract
The influence on tolerance of mice positive radial acceleration has been previously reported (j). The present paper described the change on tolerance of mice exposed Ao positive radial acceleration after injected with Ginseng ethanol extract.
A total 1,540 of normal male and female mice were injected with Ginseng ethanol extract (2 mg/kg/day)¢¥ for 4 days. They were then exposed to 2.4, 3, 5, 7, 13, 17, 23 and 29 positive radial acceleration. Percent mortality of the both groups, normal group reported previously (1) and Ginseng group, were compared.
The conclusion abtained from the results is as follow.
(1) Significant effects on increasing tolerance to each positive radial acceleration could be recognized in mice to which Ginseng ethanol extract (2 mg/kg/day)_was injected for 4 days.
(2) A formula was obtained to express the relationships between g-force, exposure time and percentage of response, which may be presented as follows.
